How to Sound Like an Ultra-Hireable Genius in Job Interviews
There’s no worse hell than job interviews: the 4000 hours of googling the company ahead of time; the pressure to stand out amongst the 10 other candidates they interviewed this week; the practicing your job interview questions with your unimpressed-looking cat; the picking your self-esteem up off the floor after being judged so harshly by your unsupportive cat.

That’s where this talk comes in! This talk will help you show off your best self in your interviews so every company you talk to will be clamouring to put an offer in front of you. We’ll cover:
- An easy 5-part process for crafting stand-out answers to job interview questions
- How to figure out what the company actually needs so you can show off the right skills
- The art of adding business context to your answers so you seem more senior and hireable
- How to brag about your professional accomplishments so you seem like a talented superstar, not an arrogant blowhard no one wants to work with
The goal of this talk is to help you absolutely dazzle everyone who interviews you, so they’re left asking, “Wow, how do we get her, and how can we pay her more money?”

Holly Burton
Executive Coach for Women in Male-Dominated Industries
Holly is an executive coach for women in male-dominated industries. She works one-on-one with ambitious women to help them lead, get promoted, and create the careers they actually want in industries they love.
As a mining engineer for the first ten years of her career, Holly was exposed to one of the most male-dominated spaces -- just 17% female. She uses the unique perspective she gained as a woman in mining, alongside her obsessive nerdiness for all things feminism, leadership, and career to help women create the working world they deserve while they wait for the rest of society to catch up.
